1. The service
SideGrid provides tools for displaying, organising and comparing multiple videos or video streams inside a browser-based interface.
Some content is played directly by the browser while other content is displayed using third-party embedded players.
2. Acceptance of these terms
By using SideGrid, you agree to these Terms of Use.
If you do not agree with these terms, you should not use the service.
3. Your content and links
You are responsible for the video files, URLs, streams and other content that you choose to load through SideGrid.
You must have the rights or permissions necessary to access and use that content.
SideGrid does not grant you any rights to third-party media.
4. Third-party services
SideGrid may integrate with services such as YouTube, Twitch, Vimeo and Google Drive.
Those services remain independent from SideGrid and are subject to their own terms, policies and technical restrictions.
SideGrid cannot guarantee that a third-party video, stream or embed will remain available or compatible.
5. Accounts
Certain SideGrid features may require an account.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for activity performed through your account.
You should notify SideGrid if you believe your account has been compromised.
6. Acceptable use
You may not use SideGrid to interfere with the service, attack its infrastructure, attempt unauthorised access, distribute malicious software, abuse third-party services or intentionally violate applicable law.
You may not use SideGrid to bypass DRM, access controls, paywalls or other technical protections.
7. Availability
SideGrid may be modified, updated, interrupted or discontinued at any time.
While reasonable efforts may be made to keep the service available, uninterrupted or error-free operation is not guaranteed.
8. Beta and evolving features
SideGrid is an evolving product. Features may change, move, be replaced or be removed as the product develops.
Experimental or beta features may behave differently across browsers, devices and third-party providers.
9. Disclaimer
SideGrid is provided on an "as available" basis to the extent permitted by applicable law.
SideGrid does not guarantee that every video source, third-party provider, browser or device will be compatible with every feature.
10. Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by applicable law, SideGrid is not responsible for indirect losses resulting from service interruptions, third-party failures, unavailable media, incompatible content or loss of locally stored workspace information.
Nothing in these terms limits rights or liabilities that cannot legally be excluded.
11. Suspension or termination
Access may be restricted or terminated where necessary to protect SideGrid, its users, its infrastructure or third-party services from abuse or unlawful activity.
12. Changes to these terms
These terms may be updated as SideGrid evolves.
The current version and revision date will be published on this page.
13. Governing law
These terms are governed by French law, subject to any mandatory consumer protection rules or other laws that apply to you.
